Maintenance agreement for the operation & backup of websites


  • Safe: We carry out periodic system health checks and malware scans and react immediately to a security problem. We have two separate backup strategies to minimize the risk of data loss.

  • Available: We monitor websites for reachability and can respond promptly if there is a problem.

  • Uptime monitoring & periodic security and system health check
  • Daily backup service. This includes creating nightly snapshots for speedy recovery and a secondary backup on a different cloud.
  • Emergency service by email (best effort response time)
  • Management of downtime incidents incl. recovery from backup. This includes any security breaches
  • Pagespeed, Search Visibility and User Activity Report upon request
  • Operating system and web server updates (security updates and new major releases)
  • Periodic WordPress upgrades and plugins upgrades. Updates have to be properly tested and are therefore done in batch. The resolution of problems that arise from upgrading major WordPress versions and any third-party plugins is invoiced by the hour.


Guaranteed Response times (optional)

In case you require guaranteed response times or availability, please find below the outline for a typical Service Level Agreement. Please get in touch.

  • During business hours from 09:00 to 17:00 Monday to Friday what. guarantees fast response times for critical issues:
    • Confirmation of notification within 3 hours
    • Start of processing within 4h
    • First report within 6 hours from receipt of the message via
  • Outside business hours, or for non-critical issues, response times are based on the best-effort principle (that is, without a contractually guaranteed warranty)
  • The work performed is offset against the normal approaches of continuous development via worklog.
